Support Groups

The Peer Support Groups are lead by one of our patient coordinators and also by representatives of the Wellness Center and/or Mind/Body Institute and are for any person who wants to share their story, garner support, or learn more about bariatric surgery from a patient's point of view. The Support Groups are held in the Auxillary Portable Building in the parking lot of the Foshay Cancer Center.

Discussions at the Support Group meetings cover a variety of topics. Frequently, guest speakers such as Psychologists, Cosmetic Surgeons, and Nutritionists are invited to attend. Parties and reunions are planned throughout the year as well!

The Support Groups are provided for our patients and their family. A Program Fee of $400.00 is charged to patients from other surgical weight loss programs.
